Visakhapatnam: GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg on Saturday said that the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) is implementing a special action plan with alternative arrangements to ensure that citizens do not face any hardship in meeting their drinking water requirements. The Commissioner informed that water levels in all reservoirs are sufficient and that the GVMC is continuously monitoring the status of the major water sources supplying water to the city. The Commissioner also directed officials to accord priority to the water requirements in the Bheemunipatnam area. Citizens can log in to the official GVMC website, gvmc.gov.in, and book a water tanker through ‘e-Booking’, ‘Water Tanker Booking’ by entering the required quantity of water, area, purpose, and other necessary details.
