‘Women Who Master 2026 Hackathon’ receives encouraging response

Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam south zone round of ‘Women Who Master 2026’, a national-level women-only hackathon, received an encouraging response at Dr Lankapalli Bullayya College of Engineering (Autonomous) in the city.
Organised by Aspire For Her in collaboration with Logitech and Prajna Resources Private Limited on Saturday, the day-long hackathon saw enthusiastic participation from women students representing institutions, including Andhra University, GITAM, KL University, Aditya College, Sri Vishnu Women’s College, Gayatri College, Sri Vasavi Engineering College and Vignan.
Participants are working on selected problem statements with mentor guidance and presenting their solutions before a jury, along with an on-site MCQ assessment.
The winners will receive Rs 1,00,000, Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively, besides certificates and career opportunities.
The event, coordinated by the Skill Development Centre under the leadership of its coordinator D Bhujanga Rao, highlights the institution’s commitment to women empowerment, innovation, emerging technologies and meaningful industry–academia-connect.
