Nandyal: Directing officials to maintain strict accuracy, Nandyal District Collector G. Rajakumari ordered Revenue and Survey departments to conduct a comprehensive field inquiry into land encroachments in Sunnipenta and submit a detailed report after thorough record verification. Reviewing the issue alongside Joint Collector Suraj Dhananjay at the Collectorate on Saturday, the Collector instructed officers to compile category-wisedata on occupants. Officials briefed the Collector on past site inspections, existing survey documents, and pending judicial cases. Collector Rajakumari instructed them to re-verify previous review data to eliminate discrepancies, cross-reference revenue registers, and align findings with ground realities. Atmakur Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) Venkata Shiva, Land and Survey Assistant Director Sriram, alongside senior revenue and survey officials, attended the meeting to outline the roadmap for the upcoming joint field survey.
