Pathikonda: Trade union leaders have issued a joint call to workers, farmers, and the general public to participate in large numbers in the constituency-level ‘Jail Bharo’ and protest demonstrations scheduled for August 10.

They also insisted on expanding MGNREGS to guarantee 200 workdays annually at a daily wage of Rs 700, alongside creating an urban employment guarantee framework.
CITU mandal secretary M Ashok presided over the meeting, which was attended by trade leaders Yousuf Basha, Krishna, Y Mahendra, Ramanji, Bhaskar, and Vijay.
