Spark Employment Services is thrilled to announce the return of Spark Up Your Summer, a free employment and community celebration that brings together local employers, job seekers and residents. It takes place Aug. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Memorial Park. Held in the newly revitalized park, Spark Up Your Summer offers a festival-like atmosphere where job seekers can meet employers who are actively hiring; get on-the-spot resume support, practise interview skills, and access free resources available across the community. “We are making it bigger this year,” Chantal Makela, CEO of Spark Employment Services, said in a release. When people can connect with employers in a fun, welcoming space, it changes the whole experience.
