Minister of Foreign Affairs Olivier Nduhungirehe welcomed a delegation of U.S. Congress Staffers on a working visit, where they discussed the strong and longstanding relations between Rwanda and the United States, spanning more than three decades.
They exchanged views on the close and transparent cooperation between Rwanda and the U.S. Congress, particularly with the Africa Subcommittee of the House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFAC).
Cooperation between Rwanda and the U.S. Congress is anchored in bipartisan legislative engagement, regular Congressional delegations visiting Kigali, and diplomatic exchanges focused on health, energy, regional security, and economic investment.
