Ryan Sieg achieved his first NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series pole position of his career for the 2026 HyVee Perks 250 at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa, on Saturday, August 8.
During the session, Sieg, who was the third-fastest competitor during Saturday’s practice session, utilized his two-lap qualifying session to clock in his fastest lap at 131.436 mph in 23.966 seconds.
39 RSS Racing Chevrolet entry from Tucker, Georgia, to nab his first career pole in the O’Reilly division and for his 423rd start in the series.
Prior to his first career pole at Iowa, Sieg’s previous-best starting spots were a pair of third-place spots at Talladega Superspeedway in June 2020 and Nashville Superspeedway in June 2024.
Sieg, whose best result in the O’Reilly Series is five runner-up results, remains in pursuit of his first victory in the series.
