MarkleysburgRobert Shannon “Bobby” VanSickle, Jr., 83, died peacefully in Ruby Memorial Hospital Friday, July 31, 2026, surrounded by friends who loved him. Bobby was born February 27, 1943, in Markleysburg, to the late Robert and Rachel Langley VanSickle, Sr. He moved to the house on Flat Rock Road when he was two months old and spent his life there. Florence Van Sickle also held a special place in his heart. Bobby is survived by his cousin, Roger Van Sickle; and a host of friends and good neighbors, who will miss his presence in their lives.
