As part of this effort, the company has replaced its old equipment with a brand-new air traffic control system called “Galaxy.” The Galaxy system uses 24 modern 3D radars to watch over the country’s airspace. It uses smart software to give air traffic controllers a clear and precise view of all flights, making air travel safer and more secure. The Egyptian Air Traffic Controllers Club celebrated the success of the new system’s initial test runs. They thanked aviation leaders, including Captain Ehab Mohie and Captain Osama Atta, for their hard work and support.
