Rogelio Lainez Cruz, 68, Etna Green, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, at home. He was born July 12, 1958, in Guaimaca, Honduras. On Dec. 24, 1983, he married Barbara Schmucker, who preceded him in death in 2019. He is survived by four sons, Joshua Michael (Brittney) Lainez, Warsaw, Kenneth Lainez, Etna Green, Caleb (Allysa) Lainez, Granger, and Kevin Lainez, Etna Green; two grandchildren; and a nephew. Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, is handling arrangements.
