Troopers were investigating a serious crash Friday evening when authorities say a suspected drunk driver drove through the active scene. Ashley Blair, 40, of the Carthage area, was arrested on suspicion of DWI after the incident forced Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers to turn their attention away from the crash investigation. Court records show Blair also has a DWI conviction from 2023. Now, three years later, Blair is again accused of driving while intoxicated — this time at a scene where troopers were already investigating a serious collision. Blair is presumed innocent of the latest allegation unless and until proven guilty in court.
