(WKU ATHLETICS)Western Kentucky’s women’s soccer team wrapped up exhibition play with a 1-1 draw against Samford at the WKU Soccer Complex on Friday afternoon. Samford scored first, but WKU equalized in the final minutes on a penalty kick to earn the tie. The Hilltoppers will officially open the 2026 season with Missouri on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the WKU Soccer Complex. Admission to all WKU Soccer games at WKU Soccer Complex is free.
