The Hot Rods surged for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning against reliever Joe Adametz. The Hot Rods put the winning run on base in the bottom of the ninth against bullpen arm Luimy Muñoz. The Hot Rods return to the diamond for the penultimate game of a six-game series with the Spartanburgers on Saturday night at 6:35 p.m.
