Mary Ann C. Schulte, 91, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. Mary Ann was raised in rural Ryan and graduated from St. Patrick’s School in Ryan in 1953. On May 29, 1956, Mary Ann was united in marriage to Edward Schulte at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ryan. Mary Ann also worked part-time at Bern’s & Nelson’s Jewelry Stores and volunteered at the Regional Medical Center’s Gift Shop. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 63 years, Edward in 2019; brothers Gerald (Ann) Gudenkauf, Lester (Marian) Gudenkauf, and Dennis (Judy) Gudenkauf; and brother-in-law Lawrence Sperfslage.
