DigixArt has teased a sequel to Road 96, their procedurally generated road trip narrative adventure from 2021. While that game had its various endings for players to reach, the team is now pushing on – “This might feel familiar to some of you. Road 96 was an overtly political game, and while set in fictional nations, leant on real world topics of elections, false flag attack to sway public opinion, the quest to overthrow tyrannical dictators, and teenagers embarking on illegal border crossings. While we don’t have a review of Road 96 or its Year 0 prequel, we do for DigixArt’s most recent title, Tides of Tomorrow. This was an innovative blend of asynchronous multiplayer storytelling, of which Gamoc said, “Tides of Tomorrow is a good story that’s alternately helped and hindered by its asynchronous multiplayer.
