Aug 08, 2026Dwayne PageDeKalb County voters will be going back to the polls one more time in 2026 for the Tennessee General Election on November 3Voters across the state will be electing the next Governor and choose candidates for the US Senate, US House of Representatives, and Tennessee General Assembly. The voter registration deadline is October 5 and early voting will be October 14-29. The party nominees for Governor are Republican Marsha Blackburn of Brentwood and Democrat Jerri Green of Memphis. The names of thirteen Independent candidates will also be on the ballotRepublican US Senator Bill Haggerty of Nashville will face Democratic challenger Marquita Bradshaw of Memphis along with eight independent candidates. In the race for the US House of Representatives-District 6 election the candidates are Republican Johnny Garrett of Goodlettsville and Democrat Mike Croley of Crossville along with two independent candidates, Christopher B. Monday of Cookeville and Angus Purdy of Nashville.
