May Marguerite (nee Poché) Gray, beloved mother, grandmother, educator, volunteer, and lifelong learner, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on July 28, 2026. Born on Jan. 17, 1942, in New Orleans, La., May was the daughter of Adolph Judson Poché and May Marguerite Levy Poché. May graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and later earned a Master of Business Administration from McNeese State University. She is survived by her sons, Andrew (Katie) Gray, Christopher (Amanda) Gray, and Edward (Eva) Gray; her seven adored grandchildren, Maggie, Jack, and Henry Gray, Judson (Vanessa), Jackson (Devi), and Callie Gray, and Hunter Gray. She is also survived by her brother, Adolph Judson Poché Jr., along with numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
