Organisers of this year's Australian Grains Industry Conference (AGIC) have hailed the move to include tours for international delegations to key agricultural zones a rousing success. This year the annual conference expanded from its traditional two-day slot in Melbourne to an entire week. On the Friday there was a visit to Riordan Grain's Balliang facility, north of Geelong and GrainCorp's port of Geelong. They said they welcomed the chance to further engage with the Australian grains industry and work on mutually beneficial partnerships together.
