When you’re looking at the radio stations in Chicago, there’s Q101, and then the next radio station is allowed to be at 101.5. [The Local Community Radio Act of 2010] allowed noncommercial radio stations to operate in third-channel adjacency under 250 watts. When it happened, everybody went to the radio to find out what was happening, but because they’d consolidated all the radio stations, no radio station operating in Minot was broadcasting an EAS [Emergency Alert System] warning.
