His 1m57.607s fastest lap became a 1m58.340s on lap five, 1m58.981s by lap seven, 1m59.603s on lap nine and 2m00.611s on the final lap. Márquez slowed to 1m59.766s on lap five, 2m00.143s on lap six and 2m00.743s by lap eight. The Aprilia was unquestionably the class of the field on Saturday, but doubling the Sprint distance could substantially change the equation.
