New plastic recycling bins rolled out across the borough - Here's how they work
['Matt Rooks-Taylor']
Basingstoke Gazette | News
How the bins workEach bin features a "lid in a lid" design, with a slot to post plastic waste through.
Milk and other plastic bottles still belong in green kerbside bins, and households can request as many green bins as they need.
If one is full, residents should not leave plastic on the ground.
More information on recycling, the new plastic banks, and October's changes to bin collection frequencies is available at www.basingstoke.gov.uk/bins.
