Tunworth Road, between its junction with Kembers Lane and its junction with Greywell Road, will close from Monday, August 10. The closure is expected to last for four weeks, although Hampshire County Council has made an order allowing the road to be shut for up to six months if necessary. The road will re-open when maintenance works, carried out by Hepburn Group Construction Ltd, are complete. An alternative route will be in place via Frog Lane and Greywell Road. Hepburn Group Construction Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
