Pughoboto, August 8 (MExN): The Pughoboto Sub-Divisional Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) on August 6 approved several key development proposals, including the construction of an amphitheatre at Pughoboto Headquarters and a football ground at Asukiqa, at its monthly meeting held at the Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner. Similarly, the proposal for the Asukiqa football ground was recommended to strengthen sports infrastructure, promote grassroots talent and encourage greater participation in sports. The Board resolved to approach the concerned department for necessary support, citing the helipad's significance as a tourist attraction and public asset. The Board entrusted the Department of Soil and Water Conservation to make the next departmental presentation. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the Chair, reaffirming the Board's commitment to advancing infrastructure, education, sports, cultural development and public welfare initiatives across Pughoboto Sub-Division.
