Dimapur, August 8 (MExN): BSW V Semester NSS volunteers of the North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) participated in a road repair and maintenance activity along the stretch leading to the college on August 7 as part of NSS Swachhata Pakhwada. The activity was organised by the NSS Unit of NEISSR with the objective of promoting cleanliness, community participation, dignity of labour and social responsibility among students. The volunteers cleared, levelled and repaired the road, improving uneven portions and de-clogging the drainage along the entrance stretch. The NSS Unit appreciated the enthusiastic participation and commitment of the BSW V Semester volunteers.
