Since the launch of the divisive but acclaimed Dragon Age: Inquisition in 2014, every game BioWare has released has been somewhat of a flop. Mass Effect: Andromeda, which came out in 2017, was deemed by many as the worst installment in the Mass Effect series, owing to its disappointing story and terrible technical performance. The thing is, by the time Mass Effect 5 is released, BioWare may no longer be owned by EA. Indeed, Mass Effect and Dragon Age would go along quite well with franchises like Fallout and Elder Scrolls. The only other potential buyer I can think of, aside from Microsoft and Take-Two, is Amazon Game Studios.
