Yesterday, they returned for a half-day, with the standard class day resuming on Monday. The school has introduced a theme for the 2026-2027 school year, which is “Teaching for Life Change.” St. James celebrated 70 years in 2025. They say today is bittersweet because it’s their last first day of school together before they leave for other opportunities in college or elsewhere.
