Eight children were rushed to the hospital with minor injuries Friday afternoon after a vehicle crashed into a preschool classroom during summer camp, according to the Glendale Police Department. Glendale police got a call just before 2 p.m. that a vehicle had collided into the Grandview House Preschool in the 1200 block of N. Pacific Avenue. A 79-year-old woman who was not affiliated with the school had been trying to make a U-turn in the school parking lot, according to Glendale Police Sgt. That day, he said, the facility had 60 four- and five-year-old children at the school for summer camp.
