However, the public comment period of the meeting delved into the potential for a data center coming to the village, and some residents’ distaste for it. While plans for a data center have yet to be shown, Shores shared documents with Shaw Local from Vasselli Law and the Village of Essex that refer to a “Proposed Data Center.” Still, with all this, village business went on: The village board paid the bills and approved a $15,000 bid to finish patching up 17000 Road.
