Judge Julia Yetter sentenced Gresham to 14 years in prison, according to a news release from Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul’s office.
In McHenry County, Ford-Gresham was sentenced last month after admitting to selling the drugs that led to the overdose deaths of two people in Marengo.
In addition to the Marengo overdoses, authorities said Ford-Gresham also delivered cocaine to two people in Elgin and Palatine between Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 2023.
One victim was found unresponsive at an Elgin homeless encampment the morning after purchasing crack cocaine from Ford-Gresham, authorities said.
“I am grateful for the partnership between the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and the Elgin and Palatine police departments that made this outcome possible.
