The show, which takes place at Tynymaes Fields, Llangurig (SY18 6SA), is a long-standing highlight of the local rural calendar, attracting competitors, exhibitors, and visitors from across Mid Wales. As a member of the Llangurig Show Executive Committee, Monica spent several years helping to organise the event and has also enjoyed success as a regular competitor in the show's various classes. Speaking ahead of the event, Monica and Andrew said it was a privilege to be chosen as this year's presidents. Organisers are hopeful of another successful event and are particularly encouraged by the continued involvement of younger generations, whose participation helps ensure the show's future remains strong. Andrew and Monica will officially open the show at 1.30pm on Saturday.
