Sixteen council homes to be built through redevelopment of Ael-Y-Bryn and Pen-Y-Bryn

Located in Ystradgynlais, the project forms part of Powys County Council’s wider plan to increase affordable housing and will see the replacement of outdated flats with modern, one-bedroom homes.
Matthew Dorrance, deputy leader of Powys County Council and cabinet member for a fairer Powys, said: "These new homes will make a real difference for local people in Ystradgynlais.
"It’s a positive step forward for the town and for local housing in Powys."
The new homes will be energy-efficient and built to meet modern housing standards.
Andrew Pettigrew, managing director of Morganstone, said: "We are very pleased to have been selected by Powys County Council to deliver these 16 energy-efficient homes in Ystradgynlais.
