The Community Clubs event, held on July 15 at Prendergast School and organised by Sport Pembrokeshire, introduced Year 3 pupils to rugby, cricket, football, and golf through inclusive coaching sessions led by local sports clubs. The event was supported by Haverfordwest Cricket Club, Haverfordwest County AFC, Haverfordwest Golf Club, and included rugby sessions, with assistance from young ambassadors from Haverfordwest High VC School. Dan Bellis of Sport Pembrokeshire said: "It was lovely to see all the children enjoying themselves and taking part in a range of activities. "A big thanks to all the children for their enthusiasm, the coaches and clubs who supported the event and to Valero for their sponsorship." The Community Clubs event is part of wider efforts to encourage active lifestyles and strengthen links between schools and local sports organisations.
