The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority became the latest organisation to sign up, joining neighbouring councils in Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. Tegryn Jones, chief executive of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, said: "Welsh is already an important part of the authority’s work and of the communities we serve, and we are proud to build on that by signing Siarter Twf. The charter was signed on Wednesday, August 5, at Pabell Pawb during Eisteddfod y Garreg Las by Mr Jones, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority chair Dr Madeleine Havard, Pembrokeshire UNISON branch secretary Jonathan Lewis, and TUC Cymru bilingual communications officer Dr Mandy James. "They promote and safeguard workers’ Welsh language rights at work as a matter of fairness, equality and equity. Pembrokeshire’s collaborative approach aims to make the Welsh language a natural and supported part of working life across the region.
