Monday’s agenda for the Carroll City Council includes the oath of office for the police department’s newest officer. The council convenes at 5:15 p.m. on Aug. 10 at Carroll City Hall, and the very first item of business will be the swearing-in of Officer Samuel Barber. City Manager Aaron Kooiker says he and Chief Brad Burke are looking forward to fitting him into the schedule. Kooiker says the council will then host what should be the final public hearing on the Ziegler CAT development agreement. Monday’s meeting is open to the public, except for the scheduled closed session, and will be live-streamed on the city’s YouTube channel.
