In the U.S. obesity market, Lilly medicines accounted for approximately six out of 10 total prescriptions and about seven out of 10 injectable prescriptions, according to the company. Ricks said the program expanded U.S. coverage for Lilly obesity medicines by 35%. During the second quarter, the company distributed $1.5 billion in dividends and repurchased $1.6 billion of shares.
