Results from Qualifications Scotland show strong performance in the region across National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher subjects. 5,295 (77.5 per cent) of National 5 pupils received a grade A-C, up from 4,955 (74.3 per cent) last year. For Higher pupils, 2,645 (72.3 per cent) of grades A-C were achieved, increasing from 2,500 (69 per cent). There were also improvements in the number of Advanced Higher awards. "In respect of this year's results, we have seen an increase in all key measures across East Ayrshire.
