A man was arrested for animal cruelty, after someone saw him mistreating a kitten in Kennewick. Upon arrival, Animal Control Officer Jackson observed 26-year old Destin Delgado aggressively handling another kitten. Animal Control Officer Marchbanks also tried to intervene, and Delgado became aggressive toward them. Thanks to the quick actions of the alert witness, the Animal Control officers, and responding Kennewick Police officers, all nine kittens are safe and receiving proper care by a veterinarian.
