PAMPLONA, Spain (LifeSiteNews) — A Spanish Catholic diocese has rebuked one of its parish priests after he called for a “Reconquista” of Morocco and the expulsion of “Arab colonizers” following the migrant invasion of the Spanish enclave of Ceuta in northern Africa. The bishop “maintained a dialogue with the parish priest to ask for the appropriate explanations about statements that he considers very inappropriate,” the same statement continues, “especially because he is a priest, a parish priest moreover, called to be an instrument of communion, dialogue and reconciliation.” READ: Priest calls for ‘Reconquista’ of Morocco after Islamic migrant surge into SpainThe priest wrote on the now-deleted X account: “May Our Lady of Africa, patron saint of Ceuta, spur the reconquest of Morocco and its conversion to Christianity.
