One noticeable difference in this year’s Wildcat Marching Band will be the musicians. The Wildcats host Organ Mountain High School at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, at DHS Memorial Stadium. The Wildcat Marching Band brings excitement and adds atmosphere to Friday night football. The Wildcat marching season will include the Cobre High Marching Invitational in Bayard, Tournament of Bands at NMSU and the Marching Performance Assessment, also in Las Cruces. Behind every high school marching band is a support system, primarily made up of parents and other family members.
