"Directly opposite the site across the A422 is an existing housing development, and to the west is the village pub The March Hare Inn. "There is a field access onto the A422 opposite the road which leads into the village, but this access is not proposed for the new housing development. "The new access point would be directly onto the public highway where there is good visibility in both directions.
