Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), which has an Experience Centre in the grounds of Eastnor Castle, has revealed plans to upgrade its off-road driving track. Planners Dowsett Mayhew, on behalf of Land Rover Experience, said in planning documents: "The proposed loose gravel circuit track would be the first of its kind in the United Kingdom for JLR. "It would support the continued development and testing of vehicle engineering and design, and would form part of the experiential offer for guests visiting the Land Rover Experience at Eastnor." Currently, the Land Rover Experience at Eastnor, has approximately 16,000 visitors each year. They added: "The proposal represents a well considered enhancement of an established rural business and tourism enterprise of national significance to the Jaguar Land Rover brand."
