The event was held at Droitwich Spa Hospital on July 24 and marked the launch of the site as an official THD Excellence Training Hub. It introduced an innovative, minimally invasive treatment for haemorrhoidal disease, known as Transanal Haemorrhoidal Dearterialisation (THD). Amit Patel, consultant colorectal surgeon at Droitwich Spa Hospital, said: "It was a pleasure to welcome colleagues from across the UK to our first THD training event at Droitwich Spa Hospital.
