The Times has released a list of the 25 best places to live by the sea with Cumbria’s Arnside making it onto the list. Alongside the beach, Arnside has lots of restaurants to visit as well as a Victorian promenade and shops to explore. On the village, The Times said: "There’s only one thing better than a sea view, and that’s an estuary view. Arnside has loads of restaurants and cafés to test out, including the Old Arnside Bakehouse and Café and Sandpipers. Having some fish and chips is a must in Arnside with the Arnside Chip Shop being highly rated on Tripadvisor with 4.5 stars out of five from 800 reviews.
