BRAINERD — Voters will go to the polls Tuesday, Aug. 11, to choose their preferred candidates to move on to the Nov. 3 general election.
There are a few contested races in the Brainerd lakes area in the primary election.
ADVERTISEMENTIn Crow Wing County, candidates for the Crow Wing County Commissioner District 4 seat are Dawn Espe, incumbent Rosemary Franzen and Troy Kenneth Scheffler.
Mail ballot precincts are: the city of Cuyuna, Dean Lake Unorganized, the city of Deerwood, the city of Fort Ripley, Gail Lake Township, the city of Garrison, the city of Riverton, the city of Jenkins, Jenkins Township, Little Pine Township, the city of Manhattan Beach, Pelican Township, Perry Lake Township, Platte Lake Township, Rabbit Lake Township, Ross Lake Township, Timothy Township and the city of Trommald.
