The Bayview is getting a new seafood spot as well as several new restaurants, Tacos El Patron is coming to the Fillmore, and Horn Barbecue is now fully done, all in This Week in Food. The Chronicle brings word this week of multiple new restaurants coming to the Bayview neighborhood thanks to startup grants from the city. These include Bayview Oyster Bar, opening next month from chef-owner April Spears, who previously operated the well loved Auntie April's, which closed during the pandemic. Also coming to the Bayview in the coming months are an Ethiopian fast-casual spot called Moya Bayview, a Panamanian fusion restaurant called Properly Seasoned Kitchen, a new sandwich spot called Phatwood Smokehouse Deli, and a new bookstore/wine bar called Chapter 3.
