The fourfold of engines, consisting of the Merchant Navy class 35016 British India Line, Royal Scot class 46115 Scots Guardsman, Jubilee class Galatea (operating as classmate 45627 Sierra Leone), and Black Five 44932, passed through Keighley while hauling five carriages en route to their West Coast Railways home at Carnforth. These locomotives were returning from "The Greatest Gathering," a prestigious event held over three days at Alstom’s historic Derby Litchurch Lane Works. It was noted that more than 140 locomotives and vehicles were on display during the sell-out event, hailed as the world's largest-ever gathering of historic and modern trains and rail-related exhibits, which formed part of this year's Railway 200 anniversary celebrations.
