(EPA Images pic)PETALING JAYA : Malaysia’s new men’s doubles pair Tee Kai Wun-Yap Roy King advanced to the Korea Masters final without hitting a shuttlecock, after their Japanese opponents were forced to withdraw from their semi-final match. Malaysia’s doubles coach Herry Iman Pierngadi confirmed that Japan’s Shuji Sawada-Daigo Tanioka conceded the walkover because one of them suffered an injury. Kai Wun-Roy King were only paired together about a month ago and have played in just three tournaments. Earlier, national men’s singles player Cheam June Wei was beaten by China’s Zhu Xuan Chen 8-21, 21-16, 12-21 in the semi-finals.
