IIMA, Cyril Shroff Launch Leadership Academy for General CounselsBilkul OnlineAhmedabad | 08 Aug 2026The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) and Cyril Shroff, Founder and Managing Partner of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, have joined hands to establish the Cyril Shroff–IIMA GC Leadership Academy, a new initiative focused on developing future-ready General Counsels (GCs). The MoU was signed and the Academy was officially launched at the IIMA campus. The initiative comes as the role of General Counsels increasingly expands beyond legal advisory functions to include strategy, governance, risk management, technology and business transformation. IIMA Director Prof. Bharat Bhasker said the initiative addresses the evolving needs of General Counsels and will strengthen leadership at the intersection of law, business and governance. Cyril Shroff said the Academy represents a long-term effort to build stronger leadership pathways for the in-house counsel community.
