Family home extension in Llanddewi BrefiPermission has been sought to extend a home in Llanddewi Brefi, Tregaron, to accommodate a multi-generational family living and working on-site. Condition 3, which restricts surface water and land drainage from connecting to the public sewerage network, is proposed for removal. A drainage appraisal found that on-site percolation is not viable, and Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water has confirmed acceptance of surface water discharge to the public sewer, in line with existing arrangements. Surface water will be managed at a greenfield run-off rate of 1.7 litres per second and the system will be able to accommodate storm events up to the one-in-100-year standard, plus a 40 per cent allowance for climate change.
