An iconic landmark in downtown San Jose is closed because of concerns about dying trees. NBC Bay Area cameras were there Friday as city crews fenced off Circle of Palms Plaza, located next to the San Jose Museum of Art. To prevent a tree from potentially falling and injuring someone, crews closed the area Friday morning. Until then, Circle of Palms Plaza will remain closed. The City of San Jose also issued a public safety alert.
